All other rich text fields in aha allow inlining of images.
Our ideas portal is internal only, so it'd be great to have the images inline.
Portal users can now paste images inline in idea descriptions and other note fields. They have always been able to attach images as files, but pasting them inline is a simpler experience and can provide more context to the image. This is supported in all private and submit-only portals. Public portals, like this one, will continue to only support file attachments to help guard against potential spam images.
Hello word. This is a must. It is a blocker to further adoption to aha.io.
Any update on this one? I believe it would make a lot of sense in 2023 to be able to copy and paste or insert pictures into the description of our ideas. 7 years have passed since this idea was opened. Maybe it's time to consider using a different software.
Its year 2023 I do not understand why ideas portal do not have this feature. It's pretty hard and sometimes impossible to explain a visual idea in text.
This would help in staying aligned with other online collaboration spaces, e.g. jive, stack, salesforce experience/community, etc.
For example, we also have an online tech forum for general Q&A, troubleshooting, tips & tricks, etc. So, it makes for an inconsistent user experience to provide the ability for inline images in one place, but not for the ideas portals.
We can do rich text (in my case tables and formatting) within Aha Ideas descriptions, but they are incredibly difficult to read in the Ideas portals. Perhaps the Ideas portal cannot enter the rich text, but if it could DISPLAY the rich text that's allowed from within Aha that would be FANTASTIC.
I can only second the other arguments. Inlining images would be highly appreciated. Maybe make it an option in the portal config?
It would be far more efficient to be able to see images inline with the text. An image is far more powerful when it is seen in conjunction with supporting text
This would be very helpful for our internal defect team as they need this to effectively report an issue.
This would be really helpful. We're looking at implementing portals internally and externally and this would really help.
