Integrate contact and proxy vote when using Sync organization idea feature in Salesforce integration setting

What is the challenge?

• The Salesforce integration includes a setting called Sync organization idea. When turned on, if a proxy vote is added to an Aha! idea and linked to an integrated organization, the integrated account in Salesforce will display the idea within it's idea widget. The following is also true:

  • No integration link is added to the proxy vote back to the Salesforce account

  • If a contact is added to the proxy vote and a matching Salesforce contact exists it will not integrate them

What is the impact?

• Proxy votes do not display a link back to Salesforce, despite the widget on the Salesforce account displaying the link to the idea

• Contacts in Salesforce and Aha! are not linked

Describe your idea.

• When the Sync organization idea setting is active and a proxy vote is added to an Aha! idea, integrate the contact with any matching contact in Salesforce, and add a link to the Salesforce account on the proxy vote in Aha!
