Show record fields as dimensions in reports without nesting rows

What is the challenge?

• Aha! pivot reports cannot group different custom fields as independent dimensions within the same table. Adding multiple fields creates a nested hierarchy rather than separate sections.

What is the impact?

• To compare counts or metrics across fields such as Category, Workspace, Workspace Category and Customer, users must create multiple separate reports, making dashboards larger, harder to scan and visually clunky.

Describe your idea.

• Allow pivot reports to show custom fields as top-level expandable rows, with each field’s values as sub-rows. Measures such as count, average time in status or other metrics could then appear as columns, with expand/collapse controls for each field.
