What is the challenge? |
I encountered a bug that highlighted a bunch of text when I tried to update a cell in a table in the description field of an Epic. When I clicked into a cell to type it erased a bunch of text in other adjacent cells. I could not get that text back. |
What is the impact? |
It's a lot of re-work for me to re-type information especially when I put a lot of time in clearly communicating information to my dev team so they understand an epic or a feature. |
Describe your idea |
Have an edit/undo/redo function at the top of the formatting table in any of the work items so that if you accidentally erase something you typed you can retrieve it. |
Thank you for your idea. While there isn't an undo button in the text editor today, it is currently possible to undo changes while making changes in the text editor using the CTRL+Z keyboard control.
