Tables in Notes - unpredictable selection and editing behaviour

What is the challenge?

When selecting cells within a table to edit its content, clicking on the cell moves the scroll bar up instead of selecting the content of the cell.

Also, I cannot always see where the cursor is. It seems to disappear which is unusual.

What is the impact?

I cannot select the cell or edit its content. At the same time, the view of the page keeps scrolling up. This means I have to simultaneously:

• cognitively adapt to the fact that simple selection does not actually work, which is unusual.

• find the area where I am currently on since the view of the page has changed because of a slight upward scroll with every new click.

Note: It may happen when copying and pasting unformatted text from another application.

Describe your idea

When I select a cell to edit its content,

1) the page view should remain the same without scrolling up or down

2) I should be to select the cell I clicked on and see the text cursor at the location within the cell where I have just clicked
