What is the challenge? |
Stories/Features marked as Will not implement are showing in the priority lists |
What is the impact? |
If its listed as will not do then its not a priority |
Describe your idea |
Allow users to determine what status of features show in the priority list or create a remove button for any status |
The idea prioritization ranking currently evaluates all ideas regardless of status. When a status filter is applied, the prioritization rank does not recalculate based on the filtered set of results.
The "Remove Shipped Ideas" option partially addresses this by re-ranking the report after completed/shipped ideas are excluded. However, there is currently no equivalent option to re-rank the remaining ideas when other excluded statuses, such as "Will Not Implement", are filtered out.
It would be helpful if the prioritization ranking could dynamically recalculate based on all active status filters, or by having a "Remove Will Not Implement" available to ensure the displayed rank accurately reflects the currently targeted set of ideas.
When making a new Priority List have you considered just removing "Will Not Implement" from the filter so they don't pull in in the first place? Or are you talking about a button that says "Remove Will Not Implement Features" similar to the existing "Remove Shipped Features"?
