Allow locking users from additional votes/comments after idea has shipped Merged

Fix it already.

I certainly agree with Lora's points about blocking votes. I don't know about blocking comments, though -- it seems sometimes people are asking for further clarification about function provided -- maybe post the comment anyway, but with a warning to highlight that the Idea is officially closed, so no one may respond to additional comments, but they can still post if they want to...

Once an idea is completed and delivered, it is useless and irritating to allow votes on it. The user either doesn't know what they are doing, or they are expecting this vote to matter. But it won't. Please allow us to turn this off so customers are not voting for something that they think will have an impact.

This is still an issue for our organization

This is the bane of my existence. Once we ship we get further comments on improvements and what we did wrong etc.. its valuable sometimes (in a large epic) but not in others. It would be better managed in Aha by selectively blocking comments at the ideas level and also providing the user with a prompt to create a new idea (as the comments are generally for an enhancement on an enhancement). Linking ideas generated from ideas would complete the circle of (product) life :)

I would like to lock an idea after promoting it to a feature in order to prevent the submitter from changing the request while we develop the feature.

Definitely need this.  Can have an idea with a large number of votes > 500 and someone comments and 500 customers then receive an email about it, then they complain about being spammed.  Need to be able to lock it so this doesn't happen.

This would be really helpful for us. We often have people add new ideas or issues to shipped ideas even though our policy is that no new issues or ideas should ever be added to shipped ideas.
