Initiatives chart icon jumping when user drops onto a specific location

I can drag an initiative icon to the chart and drop it onto a specific location. Once it is dropped, however, this icon then updates to a slightly different location after a second or so. Unfortunately this behavior can alter the actual value that the icon on the chart represents.
