Make read-only Initial Estimate settings apply to underlying advanced estimates

What is the challenge?

• Making the Initial Estimate field read-only does not prevent users from editing the underlying advanced estimate values associated with a capacity planning scenario.

• The field appears as read only, but you can click into the advanced estimate to make changes

What is the impact?

• Users can accidentally change estimates that are considered finalized. This undermines confidence in capacity plans and the reports that rely on them.

• Teams may need to lock these values while keeping them visible for reference and reporting.

Describe your idea.

• Extend the read-only setting for Initial Estimate to its underlying advanced estimate values.

• When the field is read-only, users would not be able to change those values through an advanced capacity planning estimate.
