Document Generator for PDF or other templates using Aha! records

What is the challenge?

• Aha! stores the structured data needed for governed business documents across connected records, but it does not natively generate a fixed, vertical, multi-page document by mapping those fields into a reusable template. Reports are tabular and presentations are slide-based, requiring teams to manually assemble and format documents outside Aha!.

What is the impact?

• Teams spend significant time extracting, reconciling, rewriting, and formatting data for change requests, offer documentation, approval packages, and launch materials. This creates inconsistent outputs, introduces version-control risk, and weakens the connection between the governed Aha! source data and the final business artifact.

Describe your idea.

• Add a native document-generation capability that lets users create governed templates and map fields from a primary record and its related records into a fixed document layout. Support automation, repeating sections, conditional content, branded styles, tables, page breaks, preview, version history, and export to PDF and Word. Allow the generated document to be attached or linked back to its source record.
