Allow Linking using URL From Copied Ideas/Features Etc

What is the challenge?	When Linking Related Ideas/Features/Epics in the Record Link Page pasting in the link that may be copied at the top of record types does so as a URL, but the search field int he record link page will not allow searching by the conveniently copied URL, although the related idea/feature etc reference name is included within the link. In order to get to just the reference number, you have to delete the rest of the web address by highlighting the web address minus the record reference number, but the cursor defaults to the end of the reference number from the URL. Often requiring multiple clicks to get to the reference number to link
What is the impact?	Would save frustration, save multiple clicks, ability to use the "click to copy link" when linking related records.
Describe your idea	Preferred: Allow linking directly from the URL that is in the "Click To Copy Link" on the top of off record types. OR Do not default the cursor to the end of the line when deleting the first part of the URL to get to the idea/feature etc reference number
