Date Picker in "Add Feature" Modal

In the “Add Feature” modal (when adding a feature to an epic), the due-date field shows both a “recently used dates” list and a calendar picker at the same time.

The recent-dates list overlays/competes with the calendar, so I can’t navigate the calendar or select a date reliably.

I often have to choose a random/incorrect date just to close the control and continue.

Incorrect dates get saved, requiring rework and follow-up edits.

Lost time during feature creation and planning.

Downstream errors in timelines, reports, and automations that depend on accurate dates.

Frustrating UX, reducing confidence and adoption.

Proposal:

• While recent dates could be considered useful in theory; it's not useful enough to compete with standard selection. I would prioritize a clean picker than recently used; because adding features is not a task i repeatedly and often.

Success criteria (for QA):

• User can select any date in calendar OR dropdown form.

• No unintended date is set when opening/closing the control.

• Calendar navigation and suggestions never block each other.
