I can currently create a calculated field in reports to show if an Idea was created by a customer or an employee but I have no way to identify that on the Idea page layout |

Prevents a PM from viewing an Idea and seeing quickly if it was submitted by an employee or customer |

You already have a way to display Ideas on the portal based on who submitted them, employees vs. customers. I'd like to be able to look at an Idea page layout and see if it was submitted Internally or Externally. The best option would be a field that indicates that value. Worse case would be me being able to calculated it based on the email domain of the submitter. |

This is possible today with organizations in Ideas Advanced. If the idea creator belongs to one of your customer organizations, their organization name will display right there at the top of the idea page.

I get what you’re saying but this is a very simple ask and if I can see it in a report I see no reason to not be able to see it on a view. The information is there you’re just not letting me display it.
I need to be able to do this WITHOUT Advanced Ideas. There should be room to improve functionality in Ideas without forcing the use of Advanced Ideas.
