Ideas Voting Button Change to Approve or Reject with Comments

The current voting mechanism for Aha!Ideas lacks clarity and actionable feedback, leading to confusion among product stakeholders. The binary "Vote" option does not provide sufficient context or guidance to requesters, resulting in missed opportunities to strengthen business cases or make informed decisions about continuing or discontinuing idea submissions. Additionally, stakeholders often face accessibility challenges, as they require the ability to view and vote on ideas via mobile devices or directly within Microsoft Teams—especially while traveling or working remotely.

We propose replacing the existing "Vote" button with a more informative and interactive option:
“Approve” or “Reject” with Comments.
This change will allow stakeholders to:

• Provide constructive feedback to requesters.

• Help strengthen business cases.

• Clearly signal whether an idea should be pursued, revised, or discontinued.

Mobile & Teams Accessibility

To further improve participation, stakeholders should be able to:

• View and vote on Aha!Ideas directly from their mobile devices.

• Access and interact with ideas seamlessly within Microsoft Teams.

This dual-channel accessibility will support stakeholders who are frequently traveling or working remotely, ensuring their input is captured without friction.
