Date selection in To-do list

What is the challenge?

Tasks are typically scheduled with a duration over a date range and are rarely completed in one day.

What is the impact?

The impact is that tasks are either registered on the start date and require a manual daily update of the due date.

Alternatively, the due date is set to the latest when the task must be completed, which allows this task to be overlooked until the actual due date.

Describe your idea

It would be optimal to be able to choose a start date and a to date (due date), understanding that the task is only overdue when the to date has passed, but not o when the the start date has passed.
