Provide a default choice option in predefined choice list fields Merged

What is the challenge?

I want to set a default selection in a predefined choice list field on my release record. In this case, I have a Release custom field called priority, and want "Medium" to be the default when a release is created.

What is the impact?

I want to do this to drive PM behavior toward setting appropriate priority levels for project, and not automatically make everything a high priority.

Describe your idea

In the settings for the predefined choice list custom field, provide a setting called "default value" which can be set to any of the tags in the choice list.
