Details & Business Problem |
Within the prioritization view, an automated prioritization re-rank by filtering out items that are "done" or "will not implement"; ranked numbered list automatically adjusts to the records that have been filtered out would be very helpful to continue to streamline processes with getting rid of noise Additionally, the total on the top (i.e. 1-52 of 99) also reflects the actual number of prioritized items by the filter applied rather than the total number of feature (i.e. 1-52 of 52). Manual re-ranking of features once features are marked will not implement or done (without shipping) is cumbersome to users who have large prioritization lists. The total number of features reflected on the top misrepresents the actual number of features that the product and business teams are actively pursuing. |
Desired outcomes |
The prioritization list rank functionality automatically re-ranks the features when features are marked as done or will not implement according to the prioritization order at the time. The total number of items at the top reflects the actual number of prioritized items with applied filters. |
Thank you for your idea. I did want to point out the "Remove shipped features" option. This button will automatically move any shipped features to the unranked section. This will in turn update the rankings of the remaining records. "Will not implement" would still need to be manually removed. I hope this helps!
