Dashboards as Templates

What is the challenge?

We have created a dashboard with report and text panels that we use as our product marketing one-pagers. We need to use this same format style across many workspaces, however, the text boxes can be individually updated but we don't want the panels to be changed. Right now we are creating copies and users are changing the panels and we are loosing consistency.

What is the impact?

Each workspace is creating unique dashboard styles with their own panels and thus impacting the consistency we want to create.

Describe your idea

Be able to convert a dashboard into a template where the panels type and label are locked but text editing is available.
