Display nesting in "Idea Categories" custom field Merged

What is the challenge?

When utilizing an "Idea Categories" style custom field, any nesting that is applied to those categories is not visible in that field.

What is the impact?

This makes it difficult to visually distinguish parent categories from child categories when using that field on other records.

Describe your idea

It would be great if the categories could be indented under their appropriate parents to show parent/child relationships, or if there was another visual marker to help distinguish this.
