Improve managing automations for integrations across workspaces Merged

What is the challenge?

The steps to copy and configure automations for integrations across workspaces is manual and time consuming.

What is the impact?

The need to standardize automations can be addressed with workspace templates, though automations involving integrations requires manual involvement. When this is being done across a large number of workspaces (100+) it's difficult to manage. Automation, while helpful, the rollout and maintenance for all our workspaces is very frustrating.

The current process is:

1. Copy the automation

2. Move the automation

3. Update the title of the automation to remove the “copy of” piece

4. Update the automation to have the integration for the workspace

Describe your idea

Streamline the approach of managing automations for integrations across workspace.

For example, it would be helpful to copy the automation directly to another workspace, name it during the copy. and streamline the selection of the integration per workspace especially when based on a template.

Additionally, it allows me to enable and save the copied automation without selecting an integration. it would also be helpful to set an automation rule to disabled when you copy it.
