What is the challenge? |
When working with users to build Aha! dashboards, many do not intend to make a copy of the report they are using for their dashboard. However when building the dashboard, it default sets it to make a copy and this leads to a lot of confusion. |
What is the impact? |
Newer users do not realize why changes to their reports do not automatically show in the dashboard. Confusion over copies leads to a lot of frustration. |
Describe your idea |
Default "Make a copy" to unchecked when adding a report to a dashboard. |
I have to delete and readd panels multiple times when building a dashboard because I forget to Uncheck the box. We are directing our team members to use dashboard and report templates but if we forget to uncheck the box they will not get the automatic updates.
Agreed! I would only very rarely want to make a copy. That just leads to confusion and a mess!
