In addition to tracking historical changes to the target metric, current metric and starting metric, I need an ability to track changes to a key result's custom field.
I added a custom field to represent the key results' target quarter. We use this field to align the product team on the set of priority key results for a particular quarter. At the end of the quarter, product managers review and score their KRs to designate if they achieved, partially achieved or did not achieve the KR; determine what the team needs to do to progress towards success and set a new target quarter.
We need a way to view the history of a key result, how it progressed through its lifecycle, and view the end of quarter progress for each KR -- especially if the target is moved to a future quarter.
A less desirable approach would be copy the key result with an updated target quarter, and keep the original key result with the updated status. However, this will create a lot of clutter and we'll lose of traceability of the KR.
Aha provides an ability to report on historical changes to key records, e.g. objectives, releases, and features. Can you extend this capability to cover key results?
