Sticky rows in reports

What is the challenge?

When viewing pivot reports and custom roadmaps, it's very common not to be able to see the data in the rows.

Pivot reports and custom roadmaps allow data to be nested in multiple rows. For example, there may be many feature/epics in cells, linked to several rows for team, initiative, goal or whatever. When viewing the report, the leftmost rows are off-screen for most of the cells.

What is the impact?

Meetings are difficult, users get lost, output drops, users are put off using Aha!

Describe your idea

Data in rows should be aligned to the top-left of their cell. When scrolling the report, the rows should be sticky, staying in place and in view until the last of the corresponding cells has been viewed. If there are multiple rows they should stack so that the top of the roadmap or pivot always reads with data visible for all rows.

The same should be true if the option to swimlane the first row is used (pivot only).
