Add "is blank"/"is not blank" filter option for "record links" filter type

For most filter options in a report you can choose to filter by fields that are "blank" or "not blank". This is not the case for the "record links" filter. It would be great to be able to also filter record links using the "blank"/"is not blank" options.

This is very important for my company.
We have a pivot table that shows all high level initiatives.
Associated with all high level initiative, we have asked people to add "research" links to associated documentation.
In our pivot table we want to limit show "record links" that are of type "research". But we don't want to limit the view by this. So if we could show record links that are "blank" or "research" this would solve our problem
