Custom fields on Record Cards
I've created custom fields for epics and I'd like to be able to add them to the Epic Record Cards. There seem to be only default fields available when I edit the Record Cards layouts.

Hi Austin - Yes I created a custom Epic field via Account Settings > Custom Fields > Epics. I then created a Custom Layout for Epics that contains the custom field. Then I did Workspace Settings > Configure > Custom Layouts and assigned my custom layout to Epics in my workspace. I see the custom field in the Epic layout when I'm editing Epics on my board.
But when I customize the Card Layout, my custom field isn't displayed as an item that I can drag onto the card.

Hi there, thank you for your idea! Are the custom fields you created epic custom fields? If so then these should be available to add when customizing your cards. If you are looking to include feature or requirement custom fields on your cards (which is similar to the idea you mentioned merging with), this is not currently possible.
